Current Dancers

Here Now Dance Collective is currently comprised of  Kit McDaniel, Emily Rose Cannon, Christiana Roberts and Michelle Fletcher. Each dancer brings with them a strong contemporary dance training/technical ability and specialties that include singing, acting, film making, choreography, acrosports, painting, and writing.

Emily Rose Cannon graduated from University of the Arts in 2016 under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield. She has also studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Movement Invention Program, American Dance Festival, and at the Centre National de la Danse CAMPING Festival in Paris. She has performed work by Sharon Eyal, Beth Gill, Andrea Miller, and Netta Yerushalmy, among others. She has recently moved to New York and is excited to be here.

Kit McDaniel loves to dance. A LOT. From KEIGWIN + COMPANY to T-Pain, site-specific to film, Kit is grateful for all of the experiences that have influenced the artist she is today. With classical and contemporary roots, McDaniel responds to the things that excite her soul and has been making work with Michelle Fletcher for nearly ten years. McDaniel is happy to be a part of Here Now Dance Collective and is also a member of Esme Boyce Dance.

Christiana Marie Roberts originates from Metuchen, New Jersey, where she began dancing at Metuchen Dance Centre from the age of three until eighteen. Upon graduating high school, Christiana attended The Boston Conservatory, where she became a Merit Scholarship recipient and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance in May 2015. Christiana has attended summer intensives at ABT NYC, The Joffrey Ballet School, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, ImPulsTanz International Dance Festival in Vienna, and with Spellbound Contemporary Ballet in Rome. In addition to freelance work in NYC, Christiana is a member of Inside Out Contemporary Ballet in San Francisco, CA. Christiana is incredibly excited and inspired to perform with the artists of Here Now Dance Collective.

Past Dancers

Andrew Chapman has been a performer since donning his mother’s tights and staging Nutcracker suite duets with his brother at the age of three. From musicals at Seaside Music Theatre in Daytona Beach, Florida, a BFA in Dance from the Florida State University, and five years of creative magic in New York City he is now thrilled and thankful to be a member of HERE NOW DANCE COLLECTIVE. Andrew Chapman is sore. He is appreciative. He can’t stop sharing his love of performing through life’s greatest stages.

Elizabeth Hepp (a Massachusetts native) holds a BFA in Dance from Tisch, New York University. She has worked with various choreographers including Daniel Gwirtzman, Adele Myers, Franklin Barefoot, and Jacqui Dugal. She is also a student at the Merce Cunningham Trust and performs in many reconstructions of Cunningham dances. Elizabeth has worked in arts administration with Abraham.In.Motion, The Playground (NYC), BalletNext, and most recently Barkin/Selissen Projects. She is very excited to be a part of L L L L and to work with HNDC.

Sarah Gould, an SF state Alum, Gould has lived in this city almost 3 years. Dancing, choreographing, poetry writing, painting, and art modeling are a few of the loves in her life. Highly fascinated by the infinite complexities of human relationships Gould actively explores them in her creative endeavors.

Caitlin Hafer, graduated with her BFA in dance from Florida State University.  After arriving in San Francisco, Caitlin jumped right into HNDC with a small part in The Apology Project and is thrilled to now be a full company member.  She also teaches GYROKINESIS® and hopes to produce her own works in the near future.

Michelle Kinny, after receiving her BFA in dance from Florida State University, Kinny completed a short stint in NYC, dancing in a variety of projects. Before relocating to San Francisco, she worked in an orphanage in Huancayo, Peru teaching dance and yoga and discovered her love for traveling. Michelle plans to continue to travel, knowing that she has found a home in SF and a family within HNDC.

Finishing her BFA in dance at the University of California, Irvine in 2008, Summer Bowie spent one year dancing with Los Angeles Movement Arts before moving to San Francisco. It was at this time that she became very drawn by the circus and acroyoga scene. She has performed partnered acrobatics in several local theaters, both with Dreamtime Circus and as an independent artist.

Shae Colett recently moved to San Francisco from Chicago, IL where she completed her BFA in Dance/Choreography and minor in Arts and Entertainment Media Management from Columbia College Chicago. While in Chicago, Shae worked with well known artists Lisa Gonzales, Darrel Jones, Paige Cunningham, Peter Carpenter and many more. Since moving to San Francisco she has had the privilege to perform with Raissa Simpson’s Push Dance Company, Denia Dance, Michelle Fletcher’s Here Now Dance Collective and Shannon Preto’s Dance/Theater Shannon. When not dancing, Shae works for Dancer’s Group and Rapt Productions along with working on her own dance for camera work.

Olivia Micou Cerf is originally from New Jersey, she moseyed her way to San Francisco via Kenyon College, in Gambier OH, where she majored in dance.  She enjoys swimming in the ocean, Bananagrams, and dancing with HNDC.  She is grateful to Michelle Fletcher for re-introducing her to the performance world, to her parents for accepting without asking questions, and to the clouds and other natural phenomena for gracefully and stoically accepting our imitations of them.

Originally from Florida, Angela Mazziotta moved across the country in the name of dance.  She received a BFA in Modern Dance Performance from the University of South Florida in 2009, where she had the unique opportunity to perform and choreograph abroad in France, Tunisia, and Germany.  Her work has been commissioned by Cypress Lake High School Center for the Arts, and Dance Alliance (Ft. Myers).  In San Francisco, Angela has presented her choreography at The Garage and Westside Art House, and was a soloist in the 2011 WestWave Dance Festival.  She currently enjoys performing with HNDC (Michelle Fletcher), Project Thrust (Malinda LaVelle), Cali & Co Dance (Christine Cali) and cultivating Yea Big Dance with Nina Sawant and Whitney Stevenson.

Sarah Pomarico is a graduate of Florida State University with a BFA in Dance, Summa Cum Laude. During the last two summers of college, she studied at San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, where she performed the work of Jirí Kylián, Alex Ketley, and Robert Moses. Since moving to San Francisco she has danced with Erin Derstine, Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton, David Herrera Performance Company, Anne Bluethenthal & Dancers, and Purple Moon Dance Project. She is thrilled to be a member of Here Now Dance Collective.  When not dancing, Sarah also teaches Pilates in San Francisco.

Aline Wachsmuth graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a B.F.A in Dance in 2008. In 2007, Aline received the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Award, which provided funding for three months of travel in Europe to investigate the development of contemporary dance before and after the Fall of the Berlin Wall. While there, she also attended Anouk Van Dijk’s summer intensive to expand her individual professional development. Aline was first introduced to LEVYdance through FSU’s Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography in 2006, and joined the company in 2008.
